Peggy Goes to Tully's Tulips

🌷 Peggy & Sky’s Tulip Adventure at Tulleys

If there’s one thing Peggy and Sky love, it’s an adventure… and if that adventure involves thousands of colourful flowers, lots of people and an excuse to have their photos taken, even better! 🌷🐾

So, off we went to Tulleys Tulip Farm for a day of exploring, sniffing and, naturally, looking ridiculously cute amongst the tulips. πŸ“ΈπŸŒ·

The tulip fields were absolutely beautiful, and there was no shortage of places to stop for photos. Peggy and Sky were more than happy to oblige with their modelling duties… although, as usual, Peggy was slightly more interested in what everyone else was doing than looking at the camera! πŸ˜‚

Peggy, being Peggy, also decided that the tulip fields weren't just about flowers. They were apparently an excellent opportunity to make as many new little friends as possible. She absolutely loves children and spent the day saying hello to lots of them, receiving plenty of fuss along the way. πŸ₯°

And then came one of the cutest moments of the day…

Peggy spotted a little one sitting in a buggy and, with the owner's permission, climbed in for a little cuddle and gave them a kiss. πŸ₯Ή❤️

Honestly, Peggy's social calendar is getting ridiculous. I'm not sure how she has time for all these meet-and-greets.

Of course, not every human was quite as thrilled t
o meet Peggy. πŸ™„

While we were waiting in line to have some photos taken, Peggy was calmly sitting near someone's child when one particularly unpleasant woman actually tried to hit her.

Thankfully, nothing happened, and Peggy was completely unfazed. She was simply doing what Peggy does best — sitting quietly and waiting patiently.

Thankfully, one grumpy human wasn't enough to ruin our day.

There were still plenty of happy faces, gorgeous flowers, muddy paws, lots of exploring and approximately seventeen million photos of Peggy and Sky. πŸŒ·πŸ“ΈπŸΆ

Tulleys was such a lovely adventure for the girls, and we're already wondering where our next outing will take us.

Although next time, Peggy would like it noted that she expects more snacks, more children to kiss and absolutely no grumpy flower-field people. πŸ˜‚πŸŒ·

Until the next adventure… 🐾❤️

Peggy Goes to Goodwoof

Goodwoof 2026 – A Dog's Dream Weekend at Goodwood! 🐾

If you asked me to describe doggy heaven, I'd simply say... Goodwoof!

Back in May, my human packed the car full of treats, toys, cameras (Mum never travels without one!) and enough snacks to feed a small army before heading off for an amazing two-day adventure at Goodwoof. And let me tell you... it was paws-itively incredible!

Whether you're a tiny Terrier, a giant Great Dane, or somewhere in between, Goodwoof is one of those events that every dog should experience at least once.

What is Goodwoof?

Goodwoof is the ultimate celebration of all things dogs. Set in the beautiful grounds of Goodwood, it's a weekend filled with activities, shopping, demonstrations, delicious food, expert advice and thousands upon thousands of happy wagging tails.

Everywhere you look there's another dog making friends, trying something new or convincing their humans to buy just one more toy (it worked... several times!).

Our Two-Day Adventure

We stayed nearby so we could enjoy the full weekend without rushing around.

The atmosphere was amazing from the moment we arrived. Everyone was smiling, dogs were excited (but surprisingly well behaved), and there was so much to see that we barely knew where to start.

Activities We Took Part In

There really is something for every dog.

During the weekend I enjoyed:

  • 🐾 Exploring all the different activity zones

  • 🐢 Meeting lots of new furry friends

  • πŸ“Έ Having plenty of photo opportunities

  • 🎾 Watching exciting dog demonstrations

  • 🦴 Sampling lots of tasty treats

  • πŸ’¦ Taking regular water breaks in the hydration stations

  • 🌳 Relaxing in the shaded chill-out areas

  • ❤️ Visiting charity and breed stands

  • 🎁 Collecting far too many freebies (according to Mum!)

  • πŸ›️ Shopping until our paws were tired

Everywhere we turned there was another activity waiting to be discovered.

Shopping Heaven

Now... let's talk shopping.

If your humans enjoy spoiling you, they might want to bring a bigger car!

The shopping village was packed with fantastic independent businesses alongside well-known dog brands selling everything from:

  • Luxury dog beds

  • Harnesses and leads

  • Natural treats

  • Dog clothing

  • Toys

  • Enrichment games

  • Grooming products

  • Supplements

  • Travel accessories

  • Handmade gifts

  • Doggy biscuits

  • Training equipment

Needless to say... Mum's bank account definitely got a workout.

I, however, fully supported every purchase.

The Food

Humans never seem to stop talking about food...

Luckily, Goodwoof has plenty!

There was a fantastic variety including:

  • Gourmet burgers

  • Wood-fired pizzas

  • Street food

  • Loaded fries

  • Sweet treats

  • Ice cream

  • Fresh coffee

  • Cold drinks

And don't worry—we dogs weren't forgotten either.

Many stalls offered natural treats, puppuccinos, dog ice cream and healthy snacks to keep our tails wagging all weekend.

So Many Dogs!

One of my favourite parts?

Meeting dogs of every shape, size and breed imaginable.

There were Dachshunds, Greyhounds, Spaniels, Labradors, Border Collies, Frenchies, Staffies (my favourite, obviously!), tiny Chihuahuas and enormous Newfoundlands.

Everyone was there for the same reason—to celebrate dogs.

It created such a friendly atmosphere, and there were endless opportunities to sniff new friends (the proper way to introduce yourself!).

Tips if You're Visiting Goodwoof

If you're planning to visit in the future, here's what I'd recommend:

  • Arrive early to beat the queues.

  • Bring plenty of water.

  • Pack a cooling mat if the weather is warm.

  • Wear comfy shoes (your humans will thank you!).

  • Take lots of breaks.

  • Don't forget poop bags.

  • Bring a shopping bag... or three.

  • Charge your camera—you'll take hundreds of photos.

  • Let your dog enjoy plenty of sniffing time.

Is Goodwoof Worth Visiting?

Absolutely.

Whether you're interested in shopping, training, demonstrations, food, or simply spending an unforgettable weekend surrounded by fellow dog lovers, Goodwoof delivers every single time.

It's incredibly well organised, beautifully laid out and genuinely designed with dogs at the heart of everything.

I came home completely exhausted... and somehow with even more toys than I arrived with.

I call that a successful weekend.

Roll on Goodwoof 2027!

As soon as we left, Mum was already talking about coming back.

Honestly... so was I.

The memories, the shopping, the treats, the new friends and the amazing atmosphere made it one of the highlights of my year.

Now all that's left to do is patiently wait until Goodwoof 2027.

I'll be counting down the days...

...and making sure Mum starts saving for all the shopping I'm planning to do!

See you there! 🐾

We’re so excited to share one of our favourite events of the year — the incredible All About Dogs Show! It’s the ultimate day out for dog lovers, packed with live entertainment, shopping, have-a-go activities, and of course, lots of four-legged fun. 🐢✨

Peggy has already made appearances at Newbury Showground and Hylands Park this year, and we’re gearing up for the next show in Norfolk — we’d love for you to come too!

We’ve had an exciting few weeks taking part in some brilliant dog shows, and our star, Peggy, certainly turned heads! 🐢✨

Our journey began at Newbury Showground, where Peggy entered the Judges’ Favourite category and placed an impressive 5th. It was a great atmosphere with lots of friendly faces, wagging tails, and a warm sense of community. Peggy loved all the attention – and the treats didn’t hurt either!

Then came the Hylands Park show, which was even more eventful. Peggy wowed the judges and landed a fantastic 2nd place in the same category! We were over the moon with how she performed – tail wagging all the way.

But it wasn’t just about ribbons and rankings. Hylands Park was packed with fun activities for dogs and their humans. Peggy had a go at the Napo Sniff Maze, where she had to use her nose to track down a ‘missing person’. She took the challenge seriously (with a few tail wags and detours), and it was amazing to see her instincts in action.

After all that sniffing, she cooled off in the Buddy Care ball-pit bath, which she absolutely loved. It was a playful and refreshing moment – perfect for a warm day.

We also couldn’t resist snapping some photos at the various small business photo props around the event. Peggy looked adorable in every single one (though we may be a little biased!).

All in all, both events were full of fun, fur, and unforgettable moments. We can’t wait for the next adventure!

Peggy Goes to All About Dogs Show

I was so happy to be selected as a brand ambassador for the All About Dogs Show! I couldn't wait to represent and help spread the love for all things dog.

The event was a total blast. There were so many stalls filled with treats, toys, and fun “have a go” games. I tried my paw at a few and had the best time! Plus, there were tons of yummy food stalls for both pups and humans. I definitely indulged a little—who can resist delicious snacks?

I won FIRST place in the Loveliest Lady! 🌟 It was such an honour, and I couldn’t be prouder!

I’m already looking forward to the next event. Until then, I’ll be dreaming of all the fun and goodies!

Peggy Win's Pedigree Terrier at Kent We Love Dogs Show

Oh boy, what a day! My human took me to this big event called Kent We Love Dogs Show filled with all sorts of smells and sounds. I was feeling pretty confident at first, especially when we walked into the ring and my human said I was the best in the Pedigree Terrier group! Woof! All those other pups were nice, but I really knew how to strut my stuff.

Then we wandered around and saw some shiny things called antique cars. They were big and noisy, but my human seemed excited, so I stayed close.

Next came the farm animals—wow! Chickens were clucking everywhere, and I couldn’t help but stare. But then we saw some rabbits hopping around, and I got a little too curious.

And don’t even get me started on those tortoises! They were just sitting there, all slow and strange. I’ll admit, I was a bit scared. I mean, they move so differently! My human laughed and reassured me, but I kept my distance.

All in all, it was a fun day filled with new sights and sounds, but I’m glad to be back home, snuggled up with my favourite blanket. Maybe next time, I’ll be a little braver!

Peggy Win's Best in Show at Large Breed Dog Rescue Annual Fun Day

I have the best news! On September 7th, 2024, I attended the Large Breed Dog Rescue Annual Fun Day, and guess what? I entered the Prettiest Bitch contest and came in FIRST! πŸŽ‰ That meant I got to compete for Best in Show, and I WON that too! Can you believe it?

I walked away with a ton of goodies—lots of toys, delicious treats, a shiny rosette, and a trophy to show off!

The day was such a blast. There were stalls selling everything a pup could dream of—treats, clothing, accessories, you name it! We even tried our luck at the tombola and scored some extra treats. Yum!

The best part is that every penny raised goes back to helping the Large Breed Dog Rescue. It feels good to be part of something so meaningful.

I can’t wait for next year’s Fun Day! Until then, I’ll be dreaming of all the fun we had.

Peggy Meets Santa-Paws at Dobbies

As I entered Dobbies Garden Centre with my mummy, my tail couldn't stop wagging with excitement. This was my very first visit, and I had a feeling something special awaited me inside. The air was filled with anticipation and festive cheer.

We weaved through the crowd, and that's when I saw it—a grand red chair placed in the center of the store, surrounded by sparkling lights and ornaments. It was unmistakably Santa's chair. Though I had only heard stories about Santa Claus, I knew he was someone to be adored and respected.

Mummy led me towards the queue of other dogs and owners waiting their turn to meet Santa. I watched as dogs ahead of me approached Santa with excitement, wagging their tails like there was no tomorrow. I couldn't wait to experience it myself.

Finally, it was my turn. Santa's deep voice boomed with a hearty "Ho, ho, ho!" as I stood in front of him. His long white beard and red suit made him look just like the Santa from the stories. I ran and jump up at Santa so excited to see him and tell him what I want for Christmas!

Santa smiled kindly and spoke to me. "So, Peggy, have you been a good little girl this year?" he asked, mischief twinkling in his eyes.

I tilted my head, not quite understanding the question, but Santa's soothing voice put me at ease. Mummy laughed and said, "Oh, she must be! She's such a cutie."

Santa chuckled along, then reached into his bag of gifts. He pulled out a crinkly, squeaky  toy fox and said, "For being such a good pup, here's a special present just for you, Peggy!"
My eyes grew wide with delight as I saw the toy. My tail couldn't wag any faster as I gently took it from Santa's hand, feeling incredibly special. I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the kind gesture.

After bidding Santa farewell with a bark of gratitude, mummy and I walked away, the toy fox held proudly in my mouth. I couldn't wait to show it off to my furry friends.

Telling Santa that I have been a very good girl (most of the time)

As we left Dobbies Garden Centre, I felt a warmth and happiness deep within me. Meeting Santa had been an unforgettable experience, and I knew that this was just the beginning of many more adventures to come.

I can't wait for Christmas now! lots of presents, treats and spending quality time with family
