The Paw Print Boutique - Candy Floss Tye Dye Jumper - Reveal

Cotton Candy Dreams – A Staffie’s Day as a Supermodel 🐾

By Peggy (professional cuddler, snack inspector & full-time good girl)

Helloooo friends! It’s me — Peggy.
You may know me as the smiley Staffie who believes every human exists purely for ear scratches and compliments. If you didn’t know that… well… you do now.

Recently I had a very important job. Not a nap (although I’m excellent at those). I was invited to take part in The Paw Print Boutique’s release of the Cotton Candy Tie Dye jumper. Yes. I am now officially a fashion model. Please hold your applause — I am trying to stay humble… but it’s difficult when you look this cute.

Why this meant so much to me (and my humans)

My humans LOVE supporting small businesses. They get very excited about parcels, and I get very excited about the packaging (cardboard is a delicacy, you see). So being asked to help with a release from a small dog business made my tail wag so hard I nearly created a small weather system.

But this wasn’t just about clothes.

You see… I’m a Staffie.

Sometimes people see my big smile, wiggly bum and giant bowling-ball head and still feel nervous. Staffies have a bit of a bad reputation, which honestly confuses me because I personally am terrified of:
• the hoover
• leaves that move unexpectedly
• my own reflection at night
• Prue — my smaller and older sibling (a Jackchi… literally 3/4 the size of me but somehow the boss)
• and the feather duster (it moves and I do not trust it)

My mission in life (besides snacks) is showing everyone that Staffies are loving, silly and EXTREMELY needy. I don’t just want attention — I require it. Medically. For survival.

Through my social media and meeting people in person, I’ve been changing minds one cuddle at a time. And guess what? A cute jumper helps A LOT.

The jumper that stopped strangers

When I put on the Cotton Candy Tie Dye fleece, something magical happened.

People who might have walked past before suddenly stopped and said:
“OH MY GOODNESS LOOK AT HER!”

Children waved. Adults smiled. I received several compliments and one marriage proposal (I declined, I’m focusing on my career).

The truth is — wearing something adorable makes me feel more approachable. If my smile wasn’t already inviting enough for cuddles… the jumper sealed the deal. I handed out kisses like a community service.

Let’s talk comfort (very important for nap quality)

Now I take comfort seriously. If an outfit interrupts my ability to nap for 6 hours in a sunbeam, I refuse to cooperate.

Good news: this fleece passed the Peggy Test.

Why I approve:

  • Soft & cosy material (excellent for snoozing)

  • Keeps me lovely and warm on walkies

  • Does not interfere with snack consumption

And the best part?

“But Peggy, how do you put it on?”

I’m glad you asked, imaginary reader.

If your dog doesn’t mind things going over their head — easy! Pop it straight on.

BUT if your dog is like me and occasionally acts like clothing is a personal betrayal… the fleece has a full zip from top to bottom. That means you can step them in gently. No wrestling match required. No dramatic fainting (from either dog or owner).

Fashion with a purpose

Every time someone stops to talk to me because of my jumper, they leave knowing something new:

Staffies aren’t scary.
We’re affectionate.
We’re goofy.
We love people more than almost anything.

(Almost. Sausage is still number one.)

If a cute fleece helps someone feel comfortable enough to come say hello — that’s a big win in my book. Because once they crouch down… they’re getting kissed. That part is non-negotiable.

Final thoughts from a very tired model

After my photoshoot I celebrated with:
• a nap
• another nap
• and a reward treat (I demanded it for emotional labour)

So if you want your dog to stay warm AND look ridiculously cute — this jumper is Peggy Approved™.

And remember:

Sometimes changing perceptions doesn’t take a speech.
Sometimes it just takes a wagging tail… a big Staffie smile… and a cotton candy jumper.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I must go supervise dinner preparation from the kitchen floor.

Love & slobbery kisses,
Peggy 🐶💕
